If our website guy was anybody other than me I would totally fire him! Haha. Well after realizing today I still had the May sale posted on our site and the last gun update was in mid-June I was totally embarrassed!! So, please accept my apologies… million excuses but I’m back on the horse.

One of my fave websites (as a total techno geek) is www.digg.com. On digg, stories are submitted by users, then other users vote on them. The stories that are voted on the most rise up to the front page of the site. It is very way cool way for odd and interesting stories to actually get press time.

Anyway, I was reading digg when I came upon this story:

It is basically a story speculating that the ACE Hardware Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) ad was leaked and the products on the following site are what will be on the day after sale this year:

I have no idea whether this is accurate or not but there is some totally cool stuff on there!!! Haha… I hope that is the big sale this year cuz I totally want some of that stuff actually. Portable DVD player for $69?! One of those, this guy must have. Either way… great to see an Ace Hardware story made it’s way up to the top of Digg!

We are super late on getting this blog up but this weekend is an awesome sale for us. It is the Labor Day Sale which is really pretty cool, a lot of super cheap stuff with mail-in rebates. Not really sure how much I personally am into mail-in rebates but on some of these sales like this one, if you buy enough stuff, you can really save some money :-).

Guess what ACE fans… Talked to the boss today, and he said he wants to start doing specials particularly for our online visistors and blog followers! So, soon to come are special discounts/coupons just for visiting our website and our blog.  I think it’s a great idea and am looking forward to the first special. Looks like the first special will be in early April, after the boss decides what he wants to do.

Yep, must be that time of year again because I just got the annoucement in the mail for the annual Bag Sale.  I think this is a fantastic time to catch up on those lingering projects you’ve been putting off and doing it for a 20% discount.  The deal is, anything you can fit in a regular brown paper sack is 20% of except guns, power tools, and small appliances which still get 10%.  I’m going to take advantage myself for sure… hope to see the rest of you all there!  Talk to you next time.
