A few days ago I wondered why people call a garage door opener remote a garage door opener. Today, along those same lines,  I am wondering why people call a door bell button a doorbell. It happens all the time. People ask for a door bell, and we show them the door bells. They say, no just the button thing! Then why don’t they ask for the button? These are imponderable questions that need answers!

Well, okay, I guess their need is a bit low on the list. Still, makes you wonder…
