One of the other ideas our resident computer expert Jr came up with on our Rockies outing was putting the new gun additons of the week in a Blog as well as our usual list on our website so here they are. I traded for a Marlin 1895 Limited IV in 45-70. If you havent seen one of these, Davidisons was having Marlin make up different configuations of 1895’s for 5 years and this one was one of coolest. It has a 24 inch octagon barrel with the full magazine tube. I also got the standard 1895 in 45-70 in used along with a couple of 336 Marlins in 30-30. I got a Rossi 62SA pump in 22lr on trade and today a Para Ordnance P12 with night sights walked in the door so I bought it also. As far as new guns this week. I got in a Stevens-Savage Favorite in 17 HMR. A Mossberg Silver Reserve 12 Gauge in the Sporting Clays Model. The Mossbergs have done really well and the Sporting Clays are a little bit nicer finished. I also picked up some of the Springfield 1911’s in the Black Stainless finish today from one of my distruibutors. They are always good sellers and should be in later this week so come in and check those out.
